We whip up crescent sausage bites for pretty much every party we have, bring them to potlucks, and eat them accompanied by a fruit salad for breakfast, lunch, AND dinner. It seems to us, there's never a wrong time to enjoy them.

Bacon Crescent Bites have a tasty creamy filling of cream cheese, crumbled bacon, Parmesan, and green onions that's, just like their original sausage counterparts, baked up between two layers of crescent rolls.
Once baked, a pizza cutter makes quick work of cutting the delicious result into tasty little finger-food bites - Just perfect for picking up and popping in your mouth to enjoy.
And a bonus to their great taste? Bacon Crescent Bits are super easy to make.
To whip up a batch of these bites, start by combining softened cream cheese, crumbled cooked bacon, Parmesan cheese, chopped cream onions, and a little smidge of milk in mixing bowl.
Stir everything together until it's really well combined.
Unroll one package of crescent rolls and place it on a baking sheet. Then with your fingers, gently press the seams together to seal them up.
Spoon the bacon-cream cheese mixture onto the crescent dough:
Unroll the remaining package of crescent rolls and place the dough over the top of the bacon mixture. Gently press the edges together to seal the mixture inside. You don't need to press real firmly or get every inch of the edges adhered together - just get the edges tacked down a bit.
And then spread the bacon-cream cheese mixture evenly over the crescent roll dough, leaving about a 1/2-inch border along the edges.
Then again, use your fingers to gently press any seams together on the top of the dough.
Once baked, a pizza cutter makes quick work of cutting the delicious result into tasty little finger-food bites.
Pop the baking sheet in the oven and bake everything up for about 20 minutes or so until the crescent roll dough is golden brown.
Once out of the oven, let the bites stand for about 5 minutes before cutting. Then cut the Bacon Crescent Bites into pieces. And let me just tell you, a pizza cutter makes really quick and easy work of the cutting.
For parties, we cut the bites into small squares. If we're having the bites for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, we cut them into larger rectangular pieces. Just cut to the size that fits what you're serving them for.

- 1 lb. bacon, cooked crisp & crumbled
- 1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 c. grated or shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1/3 c. sliced green onions (about 4 onions)
- 2 T. milk
- 2 packages crescent rolls
- Dash ground black pepper

How to cook Bacon Crescent Bites
- Place cream cheese, crumbled bacon, Parmesan, green onions, milk, and pepper in a mixing bowl. Stir together until well combined.
- Unroll one package of crescent rolls and place on a baking sheet. With your fingers, gently press the seams together to seal them. Spread the bacon mixture evenly over the crescent roll dough, leaving about a 1/2-inch border along the edges.
- Unroll the remaining package of crescent rolls and place on top of the bacon mixture. Press the edges together to seal. Gently press the seams together.
- Bake at 375℉ for about 18-20 minutes, or until crescent roll dough is golden brown.
- Cut into small squares and serve. (A pizza cutter makes really quick and easy work of the cutting.)
