Unroll one package of crescent rolls and place it on a baking sheet. Then with your fingers, gently press the seams together to seal them up.

Spoon the bacon-cream cheese mixture onto the crescent dough:

And then spread the bacon-cream cheese mixture evenly over the crescent roll dough, leaving about a 1/2-inch border along the edges.

Unroll the remaining package of crescent rolls and place the dough over the top of the bacon mixture. Gently press the edges together to seal the mixture inside.  You don't need to press real firmly or get every inch of the edges adhered together - just get the edges tacked down a bit.

Then again, use your fingers to gently press any seams together on the top of the dough.

Once baked, a pizza cutter makes quick work of cutting the delicious result into tasty little finger-food bites.
Pop the baking sheet in the oven and bake everything up for about 20 minutes or so until the crescent roll dough is golden brown.

Once out of the oven, let the bites stand for about 5 minutes before cutting.  Then cut the Bacon Crescent Bites into pieces.  And let me just tell you, a pizza cutter makes really quick and easy work of the cutting.

For parties, we cut the bites into small squares.  If we're having the bites for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, we cut them into larger rectangular pieces.  Just cut to the size that fits what you're serving them for.
