Christmas White Chocolate-Peppermint Popcorn
Christmas White Chocolate-Peppermint Popcorn Finely crushed candy canes, chocolate candies, and white chocolate coating turn popcorn into a deliciously festive Christmas treat.
So imagine my disappointment when today I tried out four new recipes with peppermint ... four ... and wasn't happy with a single one of them. Not a one.
Finely crushed candy canes, chocolate candies, and white chocolate coating turn popcorn into a deliciously festive Christmas treat.
Major bummer-in-the-kitchen day.
But I sure do like this Christmas White Chocolate-Peppermint Popcorn!
And the funny thing is, I didn't even mean to make it.
See, I told you I've been obsessed with peppermint.
So I went to my pantry, grabbed a candy cane, broke off a tiny piece, and popped it in my mouth with a small handful of the white chocolate popcorn I was making.
I was actually whipping up a batch of White Chocolate Popcorn for a bake sale when I thought to myself ... hmmmm .... I wonder what this would taste like with candy canes in it?
And it was good. Like really good.
I must admit, I was surprised. I didn't actually expect the white chocolate popcorn and candy cane combination to be good. But oh, it is.
And that little hmmmmmm moment is how this Christmas White Chocolate-Peppermint Popcorn came to be.
It's total yum.
I'm so glad this creation-of-my-random-thoughts concoction worked. Because out of my peppermint obsession trials, none of the others have!
Sometimes it pays off to be random.
Thank you for stopping by . We'd love to have you back soon!
