I was first introduced to this classic No-Bake Hershey's Chocolate Bar Pie several years ago by a friend of mine. We were in charge of orchestrating a luncheon for about 90 people at our church. We wanted the food to be yummy (of course), but to also be stuff that wouldn't totally tax us in preparation time or difficulty.
My friend suggested this pie for dessert, and let me tell you it totally fit the bill! Low prep time, low prep difficulty, and high on the yummy.
So just how easy is it to make a No-Bake Hershey's Chocolate Bar Pie?
Super easy.
Simply melt some Hershey's chocolate bars with almonds in small saucepan over medium-low heat, keeping the burner temperature pretty low so as not to scorch the chocolate. It won't take long at all for the chocolate bars to melt.
Fold the melted chocolate into some Cool Whip whipped topping until it's all well combined.
The result is so good it totally makes you think it was way harder than it was.
Then spoon the chocolate mixture into a prepared Oreo chocolate crumb crust.
And you're done. Yes, that's it. That's all there is to this pie. I told you you wouldn't believe a pie could be this easy!

An easy no-bake classic, made with just 3 simple ingredients. You won't believe a pie this good can be this easy!

ingredients:
- 1 (9-inch) chocolate crumb pie crust (such as Oreo pie crust)
- 1 1/2 (8 oz.) containers Cool Whip whipped topping (12 oz. total)*
- 5 full-size (1.45 oz.) Hershey's Milk Chocolate Bars with Almonds**

How to cook No-Bake Hershey's Chocolate Bar Pie
- Break chocolate bars into pieces and place in a small saucepan over medium-low heat. Heat, stirring constantly, until melted and smooth. (Or, place chocolate bar pieces in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave at MEDIUM power for one minute or until chocolate is melted and smooth when stirred.)
- Remove from heat and cool for two minutes.
- Fold melted chocolate into the Cool Whip until well combined. Spoon into crust.
- Cover and refrigerate over night, or until set.
TRACEY'S NOTES
- * The original recipe calls for 1 (8 oz.) container of Cool Whip, however I use 1 1/2 containers as I prefer a fuller pie. If you'd like to use just 1 container of Cool Whip, use just 4 Hershey's bars. Your pie will taste great, it just won't be as full in the pie crust.
- ** Regular Hershey's Milk Chocolate Bars (without almonds) can be substituted.
